The one thing twitter users want since from the inception of the platform is an EDIT button.
Twitter is testing a new edit feature for tweets.The new update will allow users to edit their tweets after they have already been published.
This is a great feature because it will make Twitter more user-friendly and make it easier for people to use the app without worrying about sending out any mistakes or embarrassing themselves.we do not have any exact release date yet. But judging by the cheers coming up it seems like everyone is happily awaiting it’s release!
Recently, Jane Manchun Wong a front end developer found twitter testing the new edit feature. Please refer to the below thread:

As per "Jane Manchun Wong" this edit feature is not going to be like a regular edit button where we can just remove the mis-spelled word and be done with it. The screen shot shows that the edit will be unmutable. It is gonna create a new tweet with mentions about the edit.

Still these are all very early stages of the feature and we dont know how it will turn out. Lets wait and see!
